The James M. Hinton Foundation’s (foundation) mission is to provide programs and services that positively impact the North Columbia area and surrounding communities. The foundation is supported by volunteers and tax-deductible donations. The foundation has no paid staff. The foundation places emphasis on relieving hunger among at-risk students and providing opportunities for youth to participate in activities that enhance their academic and social development.

Examples of how you can help:

  • $20 feeds 1 student for 4 weekends during the academic school year.
  • $25 provides 1 youth with food and activities for 6 weeks during the summer.
  • $50 sends 1 student to the 5-day Midlands Repertory Theater Summer Camp.
  • $50 provides 1 youth the opportunity to take swim lessons and participate as a member of the Greenview Dolphins Swim Team.
  • $220 provides 1 student with free voice lessons and other opportunities during the academic school year.
